I actually don't think he's as far away as you think. Physically he's a big lad, and he's also had a full pre-season as well as trial games. If he is going to live up to the potential we hope he has, surely it should start this year.

Regarding Holroyd he may have slimmed down a bit much and needs to build back a little. He is still a puppy in prop terms. A few years ago Mik came out of preseason with a huge backside but has now found his shape and matured. Holroyd needs some luck and time and hopefully he can develop under Smith.
