The RFL compliance manager has confirmed Terry Matterson is in the clear for his comments about Steve Ganson following Saturday's game.



Sounds to me like the RFL want this one forgetting about as quickly as possible

I haven't seen any reports about this, only about that bald **** from Leeds

On Sky he said it was a disgusting decision, something along the lines of 'it was hard for the match to be decided by such a disgraceful decision, but we only have ourselves to blame'



Of course the media didn't report it, although if Leeds had had two points stolen off them by such a ridiculous decision, we'd still be hearing about it now.

If that was all he said then it was an easy decision by the RFL. If coaches aren't allowed to voice reasonable opinion concerning match officials decisions that determine the outcome of games then what's the point of them attending post match interviews/press conferences etc?!



Only when they stray into the realm of suggesting an intentional bias on the part of the ref a la Alex Ferguson should they be censured.
