On a more positive note, Batley have agreed with Catalans to reduce admission to just £10 for the Challenge Cup game next week. It's on TV, and a sensible move to get as many folk into the ground as possible.

I think a lot of young lads get picked up and then discarded so easily by SL teams that they can then be completely lost to the game, if they had started at lower and more local clubs then perhaps we would keep more of them playing. Hopefully we can now start attracting some of these plYers, some may make it to our 1st team some might get picked up to play in SL or even play ther with Fax.

I think Batley had 4 DR players from Cas playing for them today, I totally disagree with this system and would never want us to have so many DR players playing for us

That's one too many. If you can have one, you can have half a dozen. It's the principle that counts and what this increasingly absurd system is doing to the wider game that is so wrong. |
