No surprises but good additions to the team Smeaton is solid and will do well for us.

Finally confirmed and good news.

Both will add to the squad, Smeaton has bags of experience and before his horrific injury at Rovers was one of the top in the championship.

Bennion is less well known to us but not to RM who rated him before he went to Aus and he will now be better for the experience and for another year developing physically.

Neck on the line I predict a big year for him when he gets his chance.

We should have signed fat show ponies who kick goals and run up and down terracing. Well worth 7th position.

Leigh's season was a lot better than the final 3 games in the middle 8's, and you know it.

I think you know as well as us, it's not how you start it's how you finish.



We took home the £787k. You took quarter of a million less. Everything else is irrelevant.

The 2 new signings don't exactly set my pulse racing ,I feel other clubs have signed better,it's obvious that quality players are not around or available at the moment,it's easy to applaud RM recent squad additions but we will see what happens in the coming games I would like us to play a couple of SL teams in friendlies we can learn nothing from playing Keighley,how about Leeds or one of the Hull teams.

I'll remember that for next season....oh and 'BIG DEREK' made up the K250 difference out oh his own pocket, so we're fine thanks.
