I'm not sure about that at all. If you read the blog it talks specifically about the impressive 2011 pack boasting Clayton etc but no mention of Maloney or any of the other pack members who signed 2 Yr deals.

It suggests to me that we are actually starting again with zero players, as we are effectively asking players to re-negotiate contracts.

Exactly, read the article again slowly. Surely it should say something about additions to the pack for 2011 alongside the players who signed 2 Year deals i.e Maloney, Penky etc. Normally when a club's season is over the first thing it does is release a retained and not retained list. We seem to be scarily quiet on that front.

Nothing to drip feed if they are on 2 Yr existing deals surely??? Just tell us!!!

As Aiziu said in his interview regarding trying to get into the NRL, which is his dream, he is on a 2 year contract but their is a clause in there that says if he can get a better deal he is allowed to quit and leave to another team, I wonder how many of the contracted players have these clauses written into their contracts, Perhaps this is why its slow at coming out into the public domain, why else would it state getting burnt .
