Not from Leigh mate - as far as I understand it he was taking a year out to recover from his niggles, a strange signing if you have signed him. Can't see what he is going to add to your team TBH.

No but I do remember the words consolidation, liquidation, administration and a collection of others all being used pre season and I do feel a little like Groundhog day right now. With rumours of a players exodus come season end and cash being in short supply etc I do feel slightly let down this year after all the fanfair of the last 2 seasons etc and promises of domination of our league and silverware a plenty!! - What have we actually had? Yes I feel a little cheated. . . . . . Don't you?

Rudd has joined from Leigh Centurians according to the club yet a Leigh poster suggests not.



I've just looked at the squad list for Leigh in the game against Fax on 30 May as set out in 'Game On' and Rudd is not listed.



Surely we are not getting someone who hasn't played this season? Or are we and, if so, what will he bring to Fax?



Anybody any the wiser about this signing?

Chris Dean has also resigned on dual registration from Saints.

He might have played amateur over the winter or summat along those lines, but Rudd hasn't appeared for either our first team or reserves all season. The lad won't let you down and I thought he never really got his chance at Leyth because of injuries, but it does seem a strange signing.
