I would be happy if Alex signed permanently it would put pressure on woodburn hall and Whitton too. He is a out and out fullback too which is rare these days but we will have to wait and see how the trail goes for both parties.

| The decision on AW to make it a permanent deal or not needs to be made reasonably promptly as we wouldn’t want him getting too much insider information on our structures and game plays then leaving to one of our rivals.  |

Cracking lad. Not given a decent run. Looked way more than capable preseason.
He'll go well. Go be a fax regular long servant this lad.
I very rarely lament players moving on. Steve Nash's departure taught me that. But young Whitton is one I feel we let go way too early. There were plenty of games he could have been tried out. Much underrated for me.

I wonder why the last permanent signing hasn’t been announced yet , with the Brandon Douglas signing not working out I’d like to think it was a prop , the only out of contract prop I can see , might be wrong is darcy lussick , don’t know much about him but looks a big unit , unless it’s someone we don’t know like when Mitch cahlane and tangata came over or possibly one of the super league clubs who’s offloading an overseas quota spot to sign Dylan napa . I know Oliver roberts was rumoured to join on loan and I can’t see him getting any game time at Huddersfield, be interesting to see who it is . |

So who do we believe i would go with matthew he says no more signings as things stand. But mick says 1 more big signing and also says he as spoken to simon and there could be a few loan signings too. If he as spoken to simon and what he is quoting is not true then the next time he interviews our coach simon wants to be telling him to start telling the truth or no more interviews but then again he could be.

I was going to have a dig at mick about it on Twitter as he seemed quite adamant about it on his full 80 minutes podcast , but he’s been admitted to hospital after ‘ an incident that required surgery’ so I’m gonna leave it , Matthew shaw is more reliable but he hasn’t reported much on the fax signings as a whole this season , in defence of mick think he got the foster one wrong and Douglas didn’t sign but this tweet by Dave Grayson confirmed our interest https://twitter.com/graysondave/status/ ... 33921?s=21

I'd imagine it will be the Ollie Roberts loan signing but they will wait a while to save face after it got revealed and Roberts denied it. Hopefully the loan signings work out for us next season as this season it left us in a right mess after players got recalled.
