so the crowd will be 1000 from Wakefield & 800 from Celtic.

They have only had four home games in Super League and clearly their OFFICIAL attendances appear not to support the move to promote them

Compared to Harlequins so far (who've had much longer in SL) they're not bad figures. I'm not sure we'd hit the 5,000 mark if we went up. If at the end of a successful season we're still struggling to hit the 3,000 mark i think an application in 2011 seems doomed to be knocked back.

To be fair, the first two games were against the clubs most likely to bring away, (cept for the million that KR would bring!). The last two are indicators of their support and how it is dropping away, not great eh...........

Come on one was the clubs first ever SL game I bet they give hundreds if not a thousand or more tickets away.

Nah if a new club on the wave of enthusiasm and loads of publicity cannot get decent crowds then they never will imo.

I'm merely suggesting that we cannot knock anyone's crowd figures until we bring our own up to a decent level.

INFLATED crowd figures thats my gripe mate.

We do it at times (the Sky games I believe you can claim for the tickets given by Sky as some form of compensation) but not to the same degree as the new boys.

I don't believe all I read in other words, said it before you can put what crowd you liek really, you only pay VAT on PAYING speccies.

I think the sensible RL supporter knows that what has happend with Celtic is a bloody farce. In fact throw London and Catalan into the equation as well. Sensible growth - like HRLFC are currently doing - is the way to strengthen the game and not throw teams in at the deep end.
