As it's one up and one down Fax chance of promotion are almost zero. I suspect the BOD of the Club don't want it either. So we are playing for prize money. (I believe the actual value of which depends on how you finish in the playoffs).



I suspect the BOD have probably assumed we will play, and loose to, Bradford in a top six playoff. So are therefore unwilling to invest in short term recruits when we are really battling for a third or fourth place finish and the money associated with it.

Why on earth should the BOD assume we will play and lose to Bradford?



Also, we could probably lose 2 of our remaining 5 games and still finish 3rd.

Exactly what I thought when I read it. We've played Bradford twice this year and should have won both.

And as things stand now we are more likely to face Whitehaven or london in the playoffs. I would not suggest we throw money about in a silly manner but i really think we need reinforcements as soon as possible for the next 5 games and then the playoffs if that's loans then so be it.

We undoubtedly need reinforcements but what's the point if the club have no ambitions of going up? That is the question and I think most of us know the answer.

At this stage of the season almost every club in every division are short on numbers so I’m not sure where the reinforcements are going to come from and if they don’t we can always blame the BOD.

On top of which we have a massively superior points difference.

To be honest with you i don't know what the clubs ambitions are for the playoffs it would be good to here from the board on this. At the end of the day if it stays as one up and one down in one off rugby why cant we beat fev or Toulouse that is if it comes down to that we or them might get beat by a other side first.

Go for Bell.. Show ambition.

I am getting to the point were i would pretty much take anyone right now it looks like we could be down to the bare bones for sunday.

I get where he is coming from but we have let players go through the season and not brought any replacements in, we are down to the bare bones with only squad players who to be honest would probably not stnad out in League 1 as back up and I can see the season just fizzling out. As said we need to win 3 out of 5 to get 3rd. I can see us losing to Haven and Fev which makes Sunday a must win if we want 3rd and a home tie against London/Haven. We really should win that and then it will be over to Fev where we won't win with the current team.



To be fair its about what I expected before the start of the season but with us been in this position I would have hoped we would have made a real push to at least give us a shot.
