| Quote Ilkley Fax="Ilkley Fax"I would be very disappointed if Springer has gone- for me he has done better than I anticipated, and while I accept I won't see everything his coach sees I felt he was becoming more involved and committed as the season progressed. As I've said in earlier posts it's all very well having majority of your team as reliable workhorses but you also need at least one or two game breakers to get you through tight games which is what Springer brought to the team.'"
This. We badly missed Springer against Haven as he is our only forward able to get through the defensive line and create something from an offload. Im sure we will get an update from the club soon.....

| Squad has been released. Springer is in the squad but whether he plays or not - Can only think that for Springer he may have a release clause for a super league offer? Would certainly be a big loss if he is leaving. Robinson is back in but cant see him playing just yet. No Bourough.

| From the 21 man squad i would pick. 1 woodburnhall, 2 saltonstall, 3 barber, 4 worthington, 5 rawsthorne, 6 harris, 7 robinson, 8 morris, 9 moore, 10 kavanagh, 11 garside, 12 tangata, 13 fairbank, subs, 14 murray, 15 springer, 16 larroyer, 17 curtis davies. I don't think for one minute that scott grix wont play but that is the side i would pick.

| While Grix playing in the halves was a big part in the turn round of performances, if he's not fit wouldn't be too concerned to see Robinson and Harris back in tandem. The only change I definitely would not want to see would be Grix to fullback and JWH shunted to centre.

Agreed. It would be daft to move JWH when it looks like he's settling into the fb slot.

| Well this match went pretty much as I expected. It looks as though some of the lads are playing with injuries and that showed in our defensive effort. The heat probably played it's part but Adam Tangata pulled it out of the fire for Fax. His extra bit of class really stood out in what otherwise was a very average performance. The good thing, and always the sign of a good team, is we are still winning without really playing well. Long may that continue. Up The Fax!

| A wins a win at the end of the day. But it was really concerning how many meters sheffield were making in the first half. our defence was barley moving up and sheffield were rolling us up the pitch at will how we were winning at halftime i don't know. We seem to struggle to create much out wide but thankfully got some joy up the middle to get us the win. We need to get our defence back on track for next week which is a big game in the battle for third spot and some how get more potent at scoring out wide will greg worthington ever score.
