I think this will be a difficult game to get two points from. We have had three games on the trot where we have had a real slow 1st half and the Whitehaven game continued poorly into the 2nd half. Hopefully a fortnight's break will have a few knocks sorted out and the lads come out refreshed and raring to go from the first whistle. I'll go for Fax 24v24 Sheffield and a good wander around Wakey afterwards. Up The Fax!

If Barber is fit I'd definitely play him in the centre - a more difficult decision around Robinson if available - a very good player but do you break up Grix and Harris - up until Whitehaven I would have said definitely no but not as clear cut now.

Ed Barber is a must if fit.

An update from the club would be nice as it seems theres been a few movements without us knowing. Did we appoint a new media manager? I honestly can't remember.

Springer won't be in the team - he's gone for good.

As far as the game goes i will go 10-28 to fax it will probably chuck it down on sunday but i still feel we will win bye a few scores. As for springer unless something as gone on that hasn't been made public i don't get why he is not in the team. We knew what we were getting when we signed him he would miss the odd tackle and give away some penalties nothing out of the ordinary thou but is ball carrying and ability to get a quick play the ball would outweigh any of that. For me this looks like some players are being judged more harshly then others lets see if the coaches brother is dropped this week for in my eyes 3 bad performances on the trot.

I would be very disappointed if Springer has gone- for me he has done better than I anticipated, and while I accept I won't see everything his coach sees I felt he was becoming more involved and committed as the season progressed. As I've said in earlier posts it's all very well having majority of your team as reliable workhorses but you also need at least one or two game breakers to get you through tight games which is what Springer brought to the team.
