| Quote Sal Paradise="Sal Paradise"It is but you also have to have an open mind about other PM's and their performance - Brown was hardly empathetic to anyone including his own MPs. Blair took us into a war on false pretences which might now be responsible for the killings in Manchester and London, Callaghan had to call in the IMF etc.'"
Indeed, completely agree on that point, and on Blair/Brown (Callaghan was before my time, I don't know enough about him).

| Quote Sal Paradise="Sal Paradise"What ever she has or hasn't done she still c1m more people to vote for her than Jeremy got to vote for him despite offering to give everybody everything. I think that's the bit that irks you the most
It could actually be worse - Jeremy could be in charge and Diane Abbot would be the Home Secretary!!!'"
I actually agree with you but, thankfully, we are unlikely to see them in charge.
However, the Prime Minister asked you to trust her to deliver a good Brexit deal and deliver a fair society.
I know this is unlikely to happen as, despite her "friends" on here, she will be gone in the near future and then you will all be saying just how poor she was.
Why are you in denial, when she would struggle to run a bath, successfully, never mind run the country.

And cringebin has achieved a LOSS in a general election, despits the biggest proposed handouts in recent history.

You say that like it was a surprise.
Labour were supposed to be facing oblivion after the election but, Mrs May has actually breathed life into Corbyn and his policies, you and Mrs May must be really proud of that

Very true. ATEOTD May won an election that had echo's of the 2010 Cameron win and Brown loss... didn't see Brown being hailed as some kind of hero in the aftermath, infact he was forced to fall on his sword for his failure.
The biggest thing here was May and her advisors not seeing the Labour party tactic of offering everything under the sun from a mile away were they to call this snap election, Corbyn had nothing to lose and everything to gain. Couple that with a head scratching, scarcely unbelievably bad manifesto and campaign in general by May and the conservatives, yet it Labour still lost and it wasn't really close.
I'm personally split on whether May should be axed, looking at the list of potential successors it isn't really filling me with inspiration.

Agree 100%, can't see any better candidate in waiting, the naievety and lessons learnt may lead to her being an even better PM.

| Quote PCollinson1990="PCollinson1990":shudder: A woman who can't manage a basic condition (it isn't an illness), yet she thinks she could manage the foreign office. Theresa May (and the Tory's as a whole) biggest achievement so far has been to keep the Labour party out and prevent another round of profligate spending brining the country to bankruptcy [iAGAIN[/i.'"
Her biggest achievement is to turn a 20 point lead in the polls into a hung parliament in the GE, talk about setting the bar low.
Perhaps we have similar thoughts in her ability after all.

I agree with you she is a disaster and for the good of everyone she needs to go quickly - I am under no illusions as to her failing but unlike you I am also under no illusions at to the failing of the last 3 Labour PMs.

Please tell me what I thought about the last 3 Labour PM's ?
Unless you've hacked my phone and PC, I think you may struggle to know.
While you're at it, chuck in this week's winning lottery numbers.

Sal responded to a post of mine by mentioning the last three Labour PM's, insinuating I thought the sun shone out of their s, and it appears he's done the same with you. Odd.

Given you have omitted to mention any of their failing I have assumed - you cannot but do anything else - that you cannot find fault otherwise you would have mentioned it for balance and contextual reference - or am I overstating your powers of comparison?
