The Oxford dictionary definition i.e. all of it, looks OK to me.
What [iI[/i consider a key [ipart[/i of socialism is you take out of society in proportion to what you put in.
This is why I am happy to pay my taxes and have them spent on the welfare state even if I don't need to access much of it. However I do expect [isomething[/i back which is why I object to have to pay for things that used to be free e.g. University tuition fees. These days I see most ordinary people "putting in" as they can't avoid tax (not that they should) while the well off (and large corporations) do not "put in" in anything like the same proportion of their income and yet they remain largely unaffected by the cuts and increase in VAT etc. |

On the lies, I also know someone about whom they published some fairly serious untruths. I also know how long it took to get even a basic, brief, hidden-away correction. |
