That's a worryingly small number after the season we've just had, the only positive I can take is that hopefully that means Crookes and Jouffret are staying.

Widdop has to be the most disappointing signing since Graham hallas (or should that be greg Eden!). He brought absolutely nothing to the team, and it just goes to show that being an international and playing in the nrl counts for nothing if you've lost it and can no longer be bothered.
Well with the club remaining silent regarding the squad looks like the club is now in the hands of a Bradford fan with a microphone. Heard the same rumour regarding kev and crooks ( should be interesting at the business club on Friday with Kev being a guest ) also hearing kav has been told he can go but is under contract as is crooks .
Also heard the club is in special measures after the upfront payment from the rfl but has limited impact on our transfers because of our already limited budget.
If I remember correctly, Kav wanted to retire the other year but was persuaded to stay. He did very well to come back when he broke his hip/pelvis that time as it is a serious injury to any player, yet alone one getting towards the end of their careers. So if he does go then fair play to him for keeping going if he did want to stop.
The special measures thing would make sense with their been an advance etc. It isn't unusual, however would be nice to here it from the club and not that fat idiot who became a journalist after following a scheme where you collect 5 crisp packets and send them off for a badge. But he's wrong more than he is right so who knows
Happy for both forwards to leave, would have released them myself anyway.Crookes on the other hand would be a big mistake..surely Tibbs a better option.
