He was also poor from a playing point of view
carried last season by Clifford

Must have cost the club £millions for very little in return. We had such good value out of sneyd and probably didn't appreciate it at the time

You missed Abdull out.
A 3 year contract for a player with recurring knee problems is another that will come back and bite us.

Almost sad to see the size of him on Saturday, this is a bloke that is 29 by the start of next season, hes not a young kid who needs nurturing about his diet anymore, there is no excuse for a pro sportsman get themselves in that state.

I think we all know it's last chance for him, reduce the weight and he will get injured less.

Does he have the motivation though, he has done it before, let's see what happens.

That's all we can do. I am hoping that a new coach, new (hopefully) environment and culture, and a new set of strength and conditioning staff will motivate him. But a lot will be down to the man himself.

Same can be said for all the squad really. We know they have had issues but I genuinely believe the club are making and continue to make good appointments to address things. But the club can only do so much and the rest will be down to the players buying into it and their self motivation.

that's fine for him as an individual but the club have recruited him into a key position for next season. If he doesn't get in shape he should be sacked

There's a long list to choose from.
