With a new Head Coach and assistant coming in along with players already exiting it makes me wonder if it will be Grix or someone higher up the chain if there is a takeover rather than simply investment.
Change is and has already been underway so it’s an odd statement to make in admitting the club are failing its supporters be them fans or corporates.
Could the timing be linked to any possible pre cursor of confirmation/completion of a takeover?
Ones things for sure it’s going to be an interesting week or weeks ahead to see how this pans out.

Agree.
I do wonder if Myler came into club expecting his role to be a rugby-based one and instead has found that the root causes of our problems lie beyond simply appointing a new coach and acquiring a few players for the coach to work with. Hence, he's now finding himself 'playing politics' (to use my phrase above) and this statement is a part of what's going on behind the scenes, which of course none of us are privy to.
Like you say, interesting few weeks ahead for us, but then when isn't it interesting around our unique crackpot club!
I've been on the internet and have already got a sense of the fans' passion for the club. They are very fanatical - Peter Gentle 12th September 2011.

All it needs now is for Adam Pearson to do an interview on Radio Humberside and everything will be rosy again and all the deluded will be saying well he fronted up lets give him another chance. As for Myler he has really said nothing apart from this
But certain members of our organisation are not delivering on their roles, and ultimately we need to make a change Well i hope you include yourself there Myler as whether you like or dislike Grix he has hardly been given the tools to work with. Poor player loans and injury prone players not replaced it seems to me he has been hung out to dry and looks likely now he will be the scapegoat and leave after the final game . Hope daddy in Law is proud of you
I do wonder if this is down to AP leaving at half time? It would be a bizarre situation for a DoR to call out an owner, however after the weeks/months of abject performances it does make you question why now?
I think we could see some changes on the backroom staff from next week. Ellis still has to start his official role and Davidson is changing job title too.

The statement came from the club's website and email, rather than say Myler talking to Hull Live or tweeting it, you wonder who gives the final sign off in statements like that, if I was the media contact id be double checking it was signed off before pressing send!
It's a weird statement. Maybe they're just going to pay some players off. If it's grix, why hasn't he binned him long before now? Or could be he told pearson to feck off at half time yesterday.
I can't see that the is much scope for major change. We hardly know anyone at the club other than the players, main coaches, pearson and myler. Maybe airlie bird got caught being blown by the girl bird mascot

I'm really struggling to work out what you actually want to happen? Can you lay out what sequence of events would satisfy you? At the moment it feels like you want a magic wand to be waved to make all alright again and anything less than that isn't good enough

The only one we need answering is when is Pearson going? That will be how the future of the club is decided. If he stays with investment I think we're done. If he goes and a whole reset begins then we can all get behind the club hopefully moving forward as the fans have lost hope, interest and the club is on a knife edge
I’m sure they’ll eventually buy the club, maybe buying a stake is just dipping a toe in the water. It looks obvious to me Myler is calling the shots regardless.
I think we’d all prefer a full complete clean break with how badly decisions have been made recently but if the investment allows the club to be ran without the recent penny pinching then it’s a massive start.
