[quote="Irregular Hoops"]Totally agree. Honestly think our 2017 team would walk this league. Super league is a really poor watch at times now. Especially ]
Do you honestly believe that or are you just saying it because Rovers are doing well. That 2017 team finished 7 wins behind castleford. The GF was won by a very end of the road golden generation Leeds that should have been miles off and had been in rapid decline since 2015 treble. Wigan were in a rebuild and failed to make play offs, saints were sacking cunningham and Wire were bottom 4. That was a perhaps the worst the SL has been aside from the covid year. This year Wigan were a generational dynasty in waiting, they may still mop up everything but to say it's been poor is a bit disingenuous. London aside all teams should have been competitive.

Let's me honest no one knows, but the fact Salford are top 4 and we have beaten says alot about the standard.
Easy to make arguments about the standard the last fews.
Some good NRL players coming over next season though, which is the first time in a while, can't remember the last time clubs signed players with the profile of JWH, keary, Pangai jnr, Feldt and Rapana.

This was about the poorest effort I’ve seen in a long time Grix can’t be part of the future
The players clearly don’t give 2 figs about what he says or what he stands for ! He’s a ‘zombie’ coach
How can Grix even blame the players ? It starts with him
Imagine JC blaming the players after being in charge 10 matches It’s always the coach ! Just look at London winning promotion last year against all the odds Look at Rowley working miracles at Salford Look at Wellens !!!! In reverse
Grix needs to go back to FAX as he’s way way out of his depth at FC
We need Leaders not perfume coaches - ie they smell ok but no substance !
I can’t stress this enough as what I saw v Cas was a level of garbage it’s hard to ever remember seeing
Those players could help improve the league Dave your right, but then we used to say that we only get over the hill Aussies coming over looking to top up there pensions, looking at the ages of those you've mentioned that could be the case again. Hopefully they'll all go really well though because there's some serious NRL talent there, (even Rapana) lol

It's a fair point, but the 4 I mentioned seen very good characters, so more like SKD than Josh Reynolds, think all could have got at least another year in the NRL which is also a good sign.
I'm hoping Rapana is like you signing SKD, improves the club on and off the field, should really help with recruitment along with Asista if they enjoy there time here.
[quote="EtonStreetRifle"]I think most of us support our club and are a "critical friend" rather than a club apologist. I'm always of the opinion that you can criticise as much as you like providing you have a valid point and offer a suggested solution/alternative option. It strikes me that the "We're rubbish, I'm not going anymore" brigade (although it's their choice) reflect current society, are part of the problem and as bad as the “half arsed" players attitude (great motivational quote in public Coach Grix) . It's cyclical, these players will move on and over time results will improve and we'll have a team to be proud of again. Us, the supporters, are the constant. We pay for the privilege of going through the mill season after season. But when the good times come back and you've stuck it out, boy dies it feel good![quote] Agree with all of that. If solutions were as easy as the critical fans think then they’d have been implemented. Unhelpful comments Grix is crap Fash is crap Pearson doesn’t care are useless but merely act as carthartic for their authors. AS you say it is the fans right but ultimately heaps even more pressure on a team that has been flattened already. Yes we are crap but won’t stay so for ever. But the resurrection won’t be instant but will come. 2025 is the first of many steps. It can’t come soon enough.

Typing on this website feels like you've had 10 pints, either not letters type or it goes on hyperspeed. If it wasn't a season with so much to whine about id have given up.
