At least when there was all the disquiet at Hull City due to losing a lot of players and not replacing them at the time,to his credit the Turk was on his plane and held an open fan forum. Thats all Pearson has to do because most of the FC fan base are gullible and believe anything he says. Has to happen if he wants to sell more than 5000 passes for next season

Whenever Pearson talks to the media people either say what he’s said is a lie or don’t want to hear what he’s said as it’s the ‘same old’.
Myler gave an interview recently.
I’m not trying to protect the club, I’m genuinely interested in what people would like?
The return of proper fans forums. There's loads of questions about investment in the club, the COVID loan, the stadium lease, right through to more mundane questions like the club recently sent me a survey asking what I thought of the pre game entertainment etc
And of course some questions would be 'no comment' or batted away but we'd get a chance to raise our concerns.

As has been said some kind of statement after our worst loss in a generation against London at magic weekend, perhaps someone coming forward and telling us what's happening at the club in terms of investment, perhaps an update on recruitment. There's still players we know have signed yet not announced.
I just feel that there's no one at the club with any passion in any department, we're run with zero enthusiasm from the first team to the match day experience to fan engagement to any sign of a long term plan. If I was a player I wouldn't want to sign for us, we're an absolute basket case and I genuinely do fear that if this continues we will be in serious difficulty within two years

Great idea and how we need it! And as for passion at the Club there seems to be far more on here!
WE used to promote two forums a year and the club and Adam always obliged they were held latterly at the Walton Club (when the Allams got shirty about using the Stadium) and were attended by 500 it was part of the remit of FC Voices but although they still exist as a group in principle at least I have heard nothing from them for ages. Looking back to the days of HISA we do suffer from not having a strong fans group to lobby the club, we can all bleat away individually but there is now no mechanism to meet with the club as a whole community. Perhaps that suits some I don't know????
When I was chair of FC Voices (for my sins), (something we were encourage to set up by Auntie Kath) Adam would meet with me every 6 weeks where I would raise stuff, often issues raised on RL fans and he would also meet with the group every 3 months who brought fans concerns forward first hand to him. We did get some real results too. That structure and the two open forums worked well and in fairness to him Clarky was always co-operative too.
But now the fans lack any sort of pressure group to exert some 'clout' and questionnaires certainly aren't the answer. Should a new investor come forward it would be an idea time to stage a forum because there is little redress these days, as far as the paying customers are concerned, and lets face it they aint a happy bunch. It's sad HISA aint still around.

I was thinking the same, what do people actually want them to engage with? For a club to have a good relationship with the fans it has to be a two way street and I’m sure if you ask people who represent the club (players, coaches, board members) they’ll probably say that fans just abuse and slag them off, mostly on social media but we’ve seen it at games too. People are entitled to their opinion and all that but it can’t be a coincidence that many people connected to the club use the word toxic to describe the fans.
That said, I’d love to hear someone from the club explaining the reasoning in allowing two of our most creative players in Hoy and Brown to leave without replacing them. We assumed at the time replacements were lined up but we had 4 months before the transfer deadline and did nothing. We had quota places and ample salary cap space. Both were off contract next year anyway so them keeping them wouldn’t have had an impact on next years recruitment. For me it’s unforgivable and the club did exactly what as Beaumont says and simply sacrificed the season the save some money.

problem is the truth hurts and its why many of the diehards on here hate any form of criticism of players or the club. The club is a mess and i would go as far as saying its a basket case
