For anyone who hasn't seen it, try and find a way to watch Concussion, a movie about how the NFL tried to cover up brain injuries and the resultant damage. Difficult subject matter but something worth watching and a reminder of what players put themselves through

Exactly. He was peddling the Long Covid excuse, then lo and behold, he returns to training the day after we were seriously linked to Ian Watson and he thought he would be coming. The players went against him from that day

I watched this not so long back. It was a compelling and shocking watch in equal measures.
It was scary how the Dr who discovered and termed the illness was treat with such disdain as opposed to being celebrated for evidencing persistent brain-shake can have fatal consequences.
