If Abdul went back to the Dobbins it would cause them no end of issues salary cap wise.
Agree about Litten. Not sure where he fits in. Moy brings more pace at full back and we’ve got Dawson/Westerman at centre and Barron/Martin on the wing.

Charles at rovers as back up to Tyrone and Lewis for 2025 nailed on.
He maybe under contract, but Rovers seem keen to relieve themselves of his deal and the cap he takes up so it would be very surprising if they are offering him to other clubs to then ask for a fee.
I really enjoy long walks especially when they are taken by people I don't like!

I'd also say that relations between the two clubs seem to be quite good at the moment. The Reynolds loan along with Aydin's inital loan and eventual permanent switch as part of an exchange with Brown are examples of this. The HDM article says that Rovers have given us permission to talk to Abdull and won't stand in his way if he wants to make the move. There was definitely times in the past when neither club would have allowed this.
As for Charles, that same HDM article says that the club see him as our long term future and plan on Abdull being a mentor for him. So pretty much the exact opposite of a swap deal. This is just mischief making from teddypicker.

I personally would hope we'd get a fee for Abdull but I reckon we will let him go for nothing, I'd also assume you aren't the only club in for him so will have to throw some money at him to secure his signing. You can use the marquee £50k loophole but then you'd have your 3 marquee spots taken up by Abdull, Asiata and Trueman. Hell of a lot of risk there with all 3 not having great injury records, maybe a risk you have to take.
