I think that's harsh on Vaughan. Vaughan just keeps delivering the performances that are way, way, ahead of our other props such as Musgrove and Philbin et al. Fizgibbon is also an excellent signing.

Vaughan Harrison Fizgibbon Crowther
i would add Walker into there, who has on the whole, has been excellent.

Vaughan and Fitzgibbon are our best two Aussie forwards for ages.
But if you compare their first ten games for the club, Vaughan wins hands down. Vaughan's season and a half compared to Fitzgibbon's half a season and it's much closer.

It`s hard to believe how Crowther has progressed from his initial loan signing from Wakefield.
He had signed a deal with Castleford for this season, & wasn`t even getting into the Wakefield team who were bottom of the table.
With Cas and Wakefield vying to avoid relegation, Wakefield wanted him away from their squad and wouldn`t release him to Cas early, as it would strengthen their squad.
Hence he was loaned to us, we liked what he had to offer and paid Cas a modest fee to retain him here.
I can`t give the guy enough credit for the way he has fitted into playing us.

In the past Crowther is exactly the kind of player who would play like he is now but elsewhere, come to us on big money and get lazy a la Westerman, Holmes etc. I'm just glad he's building his hype here rather than us having to buy it.
Back on thread, Fitzgibbon is a leader in both mentality and physicality. Those crash balls on the half turn make me wince, only to see him smiling and calling the opposition something i suspect is unsavoury.
Asotasi is the one that really gets me. He just took the p - or rather the £££.
Dave Allen was another..... that is best forgotten
Reminds me of the prop forward we labelled the crab, was Steve Hogan that guy? We've had a beach full of crabs in the past, so there will be other names given.
