Low quality fare in that first half. The two tries we conceded were woeful, and I'm far from convinced that Williams got that ball down too. Let's hope for a much better second half.
Lacklustre rugby so far & i can't help thinking that a bit more application from Salford would see them getting a comfortable win. What has happened to Vaughan's tackle busts & massive yardage? The best efforts are coming from the youngsters & we need to work on dealing with opposition teams playing front foot rugby.I just hope Big Sam comes up with a kick up the a**e team talk at half time.
The Russell pass off the floor levels out the penalty given for when Thewlis went into touch. By the letter, both are penalties, but nobody wants to see them given.
Struggling on the right in particular, but whenever they move the ball we look panicked. But equally whenever we get good ball and Williams gets it, they look flustered.
It’s in the balance, not a great game, but could be a tight finish.
