So, in the space of less than another 24 hours, we can now add a new DOR alongside (seemingly) new, possibly major, investment coming into the club to the list above!
If there is one thing you can say about us, we are never boring or without incident! There always seems to be something going on around us, good, bad or indifferent!
The ability of our club to throw regular unforeseen curve balls never ceases to amaze me!!
I've been on the internet and have already got a sense of the fans' passion for the club. They are very fanatical - Peter Gentle 12th September 2011.

Torn on the Myler situation myself. Personally, I want someone with experience in that position right now. I feel we need someone that knows what they are doing to help us restructure and get things right. No disrespect to Myler as he may turn out to be fantastic in the role and I will gladly eat my words if he is, but it feels like a gamble.
But I can accept it if it's part of the investment and the investor wants their own man in place as part of the deal. Otherwise, I feel like AP should be looking at other options. If we're gambling on putting Myler in place to tempt Thirkill into investing and he ends up not doing so... well that would be a typical Hull FC move really!

How do you know Myler doesn’t know players over there? You talk as if Motu had a recent career over there working with this players. He’d been in England since 2004 so most of the players he’d have been around would have retired when he got his role.

Your the joke….you ask for change and it’s happening,if the new investor is Mylers father in law and he is worth £160million…you would moan that he isn’t worth £161million…Myler played with loads of players from down under and pacific isles at Wire,Catalans and Leeds and may have kept in touch and have contacts.

To be honest Myler isn’t a name I’d had down on any possible candidates however I’m happy to give him a chance and he’s is a huge step up from Clark and he at least has knowledge of the game. I think we also have to take in to account we aren’t going to get a top DOR that’s any good less than halfway through the season. He may also just be a temporary solution? It is possibly also one of the criteria for the investment which is badly needed so beggars can’t be choosers as we aren’t what you class as an attractive proposition currently.
Let’s see what the bigger picture is as the changes progress. I for one am happy that the club and Adam seem to be acting and making the changes that even Stevie Wonder could see were needed.
I really enjoy long walks especially when they are taken by people I don't like!
