I thought we were going to sneak a win against Leigh, but I couldn’t have been more wrong.

When TS was in charge of the Dobbins, they often had a performance in them, but I honestly don’t think this side has.

To play a decent 40 minutes at Warrington then not get a look in since speaks volumes and can only dishearten the player.
This coach is deluded. To come out and say you play if you are in form is nonsense.
Its a pity no one questions him then on why Okinbor is still in the team or several others

I didn’t see Balmforth at Warrington but whilst we see the superficial stuff as fans TS sees stats. These may suggest he’s not ready for SL hence he’s not picked yet

That would challenge most squads, especially some of who they are (injuries). But that's irrelevant, nobody wants to hear about all that; it's whether you win or lose!!!!

Finally he admits the basic 101 of sport and culture

It’s all irrelevant - it’s whether you

WIN or LOSE

that ends my Culture debate on another thread

Hardly a debate! You offered very little other than. "tell them to win then we'll have a winning culture"

Looking at the make up of the squad you'd expect that we'd set up in similar fashion to the last third of the game against Rover's. Did we improve with that set up or did Rovers put their cue in the rack? Hopefully it's the former. A team with good support systems and processes would take the positives and show a response and improve this week (don't think many would put their shirt on them to win) . Is our culture one of continual improvement? Even if we improve, has this team got the capability to win?

Tomorrow sees the start of a 21 game run-in to the end of the season, have we ever had such a long run-in with effectively nothing material to play for?
Out of the cup, cannot be relegated, basically have no chance of reaching the play-offs (barring a miraculous about turn in fortune!). All we can really hope for is to see the odd performance between now and September which lifts our spirits a little (even if it's only for seven days before reverting to type!).

From what I've seen of Huddersfield so far, they look to be nothing more than mid-table average, certainly nothing to trouble the top end of the table.
If we can come out tomorrow and continue on in the vein of last week's second half, then we might make a game of it. On the other hand, play like we did in the first half last week and it will be another thumping to add to an ever growing list.

Predictions are almost pointless, because none of us have the slightest clue what mood/attitude they will come out with tomorrow (or any week for that matter!). Didn't we play Huddersfield at home last year, immediately after the Good Friday humiliation, and out of nowhere they suddenly remembered how to defend their goal-line and how to play with some passion and energy? Maybe tomorrow will be a touch of the same, or maybe not, who honestly knows?

Not me that's for sure, I'm going to turn up and see what happens. I no longer have any pre-conceived ideas of how any game involving us might turn out, because it could turn out to be absolutely anything, let's hope we're all in for a nice surprising Saturday afternoon, we live in hope as always!!

If anyone is passing by South Stand tomorrow, give me a cheery wave. I'll be the one wearing black & white with, no doubt, a frustrated/perplexed look on my face at what is unfolding in front of me (like virtually everyone else probably!!). It's never been an easy ride, being a black & white, but we've taken the rollercoaster to a new level this year! Fingers crossed tomorrow afternoon brings a little light relief and a touch of sunshine into the spring air!

I've been on the internet and have already got a sense of the fans' passion for the club. They are very fanatical - Peter Gentle 12th September 2011.

the problem BP1, is that we're a below average side, and Huddersfield put 54 points on us only two weeks ago. Likely to be similar tomorrow, I just don't think we have the confidence to score lots of points and win a game, our mentality seems to be tru to compete and limit damage rather than actually knowing how to / having the will to win

I suspect you're probably right. After the past three weeks I wouldn't back us against anyone at this moment, even London away looks tricky after they came so close to turning us over last month.
I keep thinking/hoping that this can't get any worse and surely, at some point, we will show at least a modicum of fight and idea, only for us to then turn in another turgid performance! Likely to be the same tomorrow in all honestly.

In truth, I'm only going tomorrow because; a) I've already paid for my seat as a passholder, and b) I can't think of anything else to do particularly with my Saturday afternoon!! It's all just hit and hope really. The worst part is that this is really all we have to look forward to for the rest of the season, there is nothing to cling onto at the moment, not even hope.

I think we can use this season to watch the process of transformation of a declined club in to a competitive one that has begun to initiate the dna like the likes of Wigan possess. I am as saddened as the next fan at this and last season’s performances. Sacking the coach is just not the answer especially one with patience, experience and who likes the challenge. I’m paying to get in tomorrow to watch this process for 80 mins and provide some funds- and an afternoon out! Otherwise I could just moan and boycott the club which is the last thing it needs. It cannot get worse until we find ourselves in the championship and that’s 18 months away. Keep supporting hard though it is
