I did hear that the plan was to nurture youth players on a lower end Cap for a few seasons, with the fact we wont be on IMGs radar to be relegated. Whilst the club guide through clearing some debts with the hope in two seasons time we will comfortably be able to spend at the cap and a marquee player.
Dont believe it though, for a start any half decent youngster I think will jump ship if the current trend continues.
It’s a big gamble relying on youth, especially for a Hull side. We don’t have a great history of making stars in our first team. Probably single figures how many have become established first teamers for us under Peason. The only ‘star’ being Shaul who we picked up from Skirlaugh.

Im with you on that, we shouldnt be looking to establish a youth set up now, weve being fully professional for over 25 years.
But with no relegation, it wouldnt surprise me to see Pearson go cheap.

The other risk with this plan is will pass sales hold up for these years of low budget, no relegation drama rugby? With added challenge that you can now stream every game for a lower cost than going, and theres 15k empty seats to choose from in the rare event we have a must see gane again.

Oh your preaching to the converted but I think this is Pearsons last throw of the dice.

Honestly don't see anyone coming in or doing better.
Not with these players. They’ve all being playing for a long time, they know how to pass/catch & tackle. They’re simply choosing not too, can’t let them win the battle against the coach again.
