Why didn't the club say a few weeks ago that whilst he was banned he would have some corrective surgery on a hand injury. But instead, they just wait until the week before everyone thought he was back!

Because that's too much logical thinking for our club to handle.

This season has been a nightmare, mix of stupidity (by players and coaches) and some real bad luck. Just when you think things are turning, was thinking about the team yesterday and which props to leave out, then bang, 2 out, possible 3 if we can't keep Bullock.

Agreed think that's poor management and PR from the club, but to be honest think that's been poor for a few years now. Bit like Trueman, initially said they hoped he'd be back at or near the start of the season, then it was 'hopeful' after the first few rounds since then nothing other than Dan in an article saying May which will be at least 10 rounds of the season. As fans we don't ask for much from the club but far too often we are asked to step up and back the club which we do and have done yet again yet the club can't even repay its fan base by at least keeping somewhat informed as the communication is poor unless they want something.

Also looks like Tindall won't be back either.

Just when as fans we start to feel a little flicker of hope the club score an own goal to extinguish that hope.

So most likely it's only Sutcliffe and Brown back in and Ashworth, Walker and Houghton missing from the last game.

I know it might only seem like a really trivial thing but quite honestly with they way recent seasons have gone and how this season has gone so far and the way the sport is being governed/run with the inconsistency in decisions and charges I am really feeling disengaged from it all.

I really enjoy long walks especially when they are taken by people I don't like!

In hindsight then, was there actually any point in appealing Pele's ban? Are all these injuries just down to bad luck or is it bad conditioning too?

He challenged the grading, didn't appeal, but it's similar, could have been 7 matches so worth the challenge.

Got to agree , The club just doesn't help itself at times .
