Like him or hate him, at least he's standing up to these farcical clowns at the RFL who are running/ruining the game.
Totally agree someone needs to stand up to the RFL.

It's a real shame, as he her started the season really well, does give the opportunity for Hoy to show us what he can do in his favored position, as well as possible game time for Litten

I can't say I like or dislike Beaumont, don't always agree with what he has to say, sometimes think his outbursts are not helpful and can be a bit of a loose cannon at times so to speak. However what I will say is that he does seem to love the game and want to see it prosper and do better than it is and he isn't afraid to stand up and say something.
What he has been saying of late I don't think many could or would argue with the points he's been making. I do think he needs to be listened to and backed by some of the other owners to show a more united front with a much more powerful and coherent voice.
Would he be the man you'd want to directly lead the push for change probably not, but he is certainly someone that is worth listening to and having on board a group to push to effect fundamental changes within the way the sport is run and governed.
I really enjoy long walks especially when they are taken by people I don't like!

That's a fair assessment Chris. We all have views that are contentious at times, and Degsey is no different. In this case here, his objective to put the game in a better place is hopefully supported by other club owners. Will they? I'm not sure about that.
It won't be long before certain teams will be carrying the ball and looking connect their head to the tacklers face, I'll give it a couple of weeks,if that.
