Elite Academy status was rightfully removed in Jason Hirst’s opinion. Sounded like it was an absolute farce off the field. Coaches weren’t even DBS checked?! Ryan Hunkin still working wonders with the academy and investment in the academy has come from recent additions to the board.
We have increased our scouts from 5 to 16.
Player recruitment is ongoing and we will strengthen the squad as the season progresses.
Lee Greenwood mentioned how disruptive dual reg was last year. Sounds like we won’t be using that option this season.
No real news on injuries. Doro is long term. Everyone else is 3-6 weeks away.

Lee Greenwood was on record has hating dual reg when he was head coach at Gloucester way back. I totally agree with him that it's disruptive. It's no coincidence that we started to improve after we stopped playing so many Leeds kids last year despite what the Fax fans say.

Oh and Mitch Souter is trying hard to get used to driving around roundabouts. He's a character. He mentioned his "two kids" - Eribe Doro and Dan Okoro.
