He might get through a big number of tackles, but he doesn't dominate anyone or make an impact with the ball. He just seems really passive when he's on the pitch.
If he doesn't make an impact against London I'd stick him on the bench. I get he's in a new comp and a new position. I don't want to bash him too much, but with the state our SR is in, we need more from him.
Completely agree, not writing him off just yet. But he isn’t what we needed, he’s basically a project. We needed an established out and out second row, the rumours of Alick and Blore and then ending up with Okunbur was poor recruitment.
Okunbor is like a poorer version of Griffin, a back that tried to make the transition to the second row, but hasn't yet succeeded like Griffin has. We needed a line breaking second row, we've got enough tacklers already in Fash, Lane, Cator etc

Im not writing him off just yet, we knew when we signed him that he was a faster style of 2nd row. Pitches so far have been slow and heavy. But you do expect quota players to hit the ground running and be better than local options.
Surely the French prop has to get a run out at some point or what was the point signing him? Even if he isnt fully ready surely instruction can be given to play a very basic catch and drive the ball up off the bench role.
