Would love to get an explanation of how they reached these decisions as it is ridiculous! Donaldson jumps into thr tackle and swings the arm with direct contact to the head. If he got 3 matches there would be no complaints. Lisone is instinctive attempt to stop a try across the shoulder and bounces upwards clearly no intent to put a hit on the opponent. Anybody whos pkayed the game knows the difference in those 2 tackles. Although a different type of tackle Lisone more in common with the Brierley on at Leeds. If Donno got 3 you could possibly accept 1 for Lisone but these decisions look like the MVP don't have a clue and are drawing the sanctions out of a hat!

It seems the last few seasons have started off the same way for many fans. Anticipation and excitement for the season to commence, yet within weeks rule changes and new policies have made a growing number of fans despondent and created apathy.
I’ve never known a covering body so out of touch and pathetic as the RFL.
Going by the video, Lisone's doesn't look as bad as Donaldson's, it will be interesting to see the explanation. It may be they feel Lisone has enough time and space to make a lower tackle, or it could be the amount of force in the contact is higher than it appears on the video, but I think the club should have a good chance of getting it reduced
