2 signed from the team that got relegated too. Easy to manipulate any signing into a positive or negative, although haven't heard the don't have to move house one before. I suppose it worked for Albert Kelly.

Arguably two of Wakeys better players though Dave, with the added bonus that they aren't moving from one side of the world too the other aswell. Your right though, as easy as it is to put positive spin on a signing it's just as easy to put a negative too, to you FC fans Pele could be that line breaking prop you need, to us Rovers fans he's probably gonna be another Vete, its all in the spin.

Whitbread will be a terrific signing for Rovers half of Super League were chasing him. Tanginoa is a very good player too. Don't be surprised if some of your players find him difficult to tackle.

I agree Rovers do seem to have a few former Wakefield & Salford players .....King, Batchelor, Burgess, Evalds etc plus the afore mentioned Tanginoa & Whitbread.

I think they are all excellent players you see them as players from rubbish teams I suppose we would wouldn't we.

If they don't work out for Rovers we'll just start again, As Paul Lakin said recently "We’re a club that’s growing, we’ve grown year-on-year for the last three years and we’ll continue to grow. We’ll spend off the pitch, we’ve got a board of very strong and wealthy individuals'.

Rovers are building something to last.

I couldn't hear the robin sing if not for you.

Rovers didn't sign fifita or lino :SUBMISSION:

Infact I think tangonia is pretty average for a overseas player

Ashurst is better than him imo

Let's not kid ourselves that just because Rovers have signed players from Wakefield, Castleford and Salford respectively that they are now poor players or were bad players in a relegated side.
Tanginoa when fit is still a good player. Whitbread was coveted by a few SL clubs, I was led to believe by us too.
Burgess and Evalds are still good players, capable of doing a job.

Just because they sign for Rovers doesn't make them poor signings.
Some people need to take their black and white blinkers off and comment with impartiality instead.

Where's the fun in that though?

We slag each other off and chat sh#t but it's just banter at the end of the day isn't it?

I said two of there better players didn't I?

As for Ashurst, he's been a solid SL player but that's it, I'm sure if FC signed him you wouldn't be happy though, well maybe you would be, but that says a lot about you and your knowledge

I'm sick of hearing about how Hull KR are contenders and we are cannon fodder.

Bring em' on.

Let's have em'

We know where we are and we know that we can still do that muck.

Can't say, they are brilliant, just had there best ever season, finished 4th and lost the cup final, they really should have won.

A bit like our 2013 season, and like thatcseason, no one will remember it in a few years, not for positive reasons anyway, more for missed opportunities.

History repeats itself, building something to last? Just like the early 80’s? That group of people sent your club into rapid decline and RFL wilderness for 30 years. Be careful what you wish for and be even more careful what you brag about. It’s a long way down from the top of this particular tree and a lot of branches to hit as you fall, which happens to all clubs sometime or other.
