Interesting to see that Tom Johnstone is expected to leave Catalans at the end of 2024. Would not be surprised to see him head to OZ, but potentially an option for us if Fusitua departs.

Not sure about Wigan going into a period of dominance.
They're definitely the team to beat and have recruited very well.
But they've got plenty of defeats in them.
They certainly don't look streets ahead of the others and things went in their favour last year.
A bridge too far for Saints.
Cats hit a wall.
Leeds and Wire were garbage.
Saints will bounce back no doubt.

I don’t think Newmans in demand either

Will depend if any of the top 4 have an injury crisis or lots of bans I think.
Wigan and saints will be top 2 I think,unless the above hits hard

Newman needs a huge year if he wants to get NRL interest.

That's not just big performances in big games but being able to play week in week out

I think Johnstone is 28, in his physical prime, and the best winger in the northern hemisphere. So if the NRL clubs are as keen on SL talent as the agents and the RL press would have us believe, his availability would generate some interest.

If Johnstone stays fit he is really good, always rated him.

I’d like to think for 2025 one of our own wingers will be about ready.
