Davies would fit nicely into second row as a Wallace replacement.

Reece Lynne gone to Doncaster on a three year deal. While I would've liked him in our squad a three year deal is a bit of a stretch. We have Gill, Arundal and Myers who are all steady first teamers. Would be good to bring another academy player through or recruit another backup centre just to have a bit of depth there. No need for a big signing really.

Really happy with where the squad is at the moment if we get Davies I’d say we are 1 player (either hooker or prop) off of where we need to be cracking place to be before Christmas

I think we are a bit light at half back with only Jowett for cover. If Lawford is staying that's ok but not sure if he's off to Oz.

Perhaps if we sign a player like Eden who can play fullback it provides some cover as Tom Holmes provides an option at halfback.
