Thewlis has been good. I'm a massive fan of Nicholson, but he's not shown that much yet. After watching the dally M awards this morning, the 3 nominees for this award just proves the MASSIVE gulf in the quality of players in the respective competitions.

Would be nice to see Thewlis get some recognition, but I doubt they'd look beyond a Wigan player this year.

If Brad o Neill is that good(and I rate the lad), why have they signed kruise Leeming on a long term contract? It must be soul destroying to play in Wigans academy when all they do is bring players in.

Wigan have been claiming Siddal as an Eastern district of their town for quite a while now, so they probably just see Leeming as another pureblood Wiganer off the production line.

I know that's tongue in cheek - but I think we're going to see them both on the pitch at the same time next season. We've recently been moving O'Neill to 13 for spells when Powell comes off the bench, and I think we'll be seeing something similar with Leeming. He's only 21 and already looks ahead of where Powell was at his best, so there's no way we're not seeing him as integral to us for the next few years at least.

Being biased I think O'Neill deserves it and will get it, but I've been impressed by Thewlis and like most Wiganers I wish Nicholson was still playing for us.

He's played more than Thewliss or Nicholson.
