What is it about lower salaries (well, King can't be included in that obviously ) that seems to bring better performances out of players? Or have I answered my own question?

They were all part of the clear out by Powell it’s not as though it has been a regular feature. Long term you have to think Gaz O’Brien has carved out. a good career for himself. C Hill it was his decision to leave by all accounts.
Just my opinions unless it's a FACT, in which case it's a fact.
So with Kasiano, with him being told he's free to leave if he can find another club. Does that mean he's gone either way? Because if he doesn't find a club we'll just keep him? Honestly if he does move on i'd prefer a solid and consistant prop like Jai Whitbread, but looks like he might be on his way to KR. Vaughan and Musgrove will be some big Punch starting for us next year, Bullock is a really good impact player along with Philbin who's found some good form again and Harrison, Throw Whitbread in that mix with Lucas Green etc we're looking very strong. An on form Kasiano though is really destructive player, and if he stays i think Burgess is the guy to get the best out of all our forwards. Which in Turn will allow our halves and backs to run riot
I’m not going to argue with Sam Burgess over what he wants in the front row. As I see it, he doesn’t want 10 minute maximum engines, that don’t offer much for it either.

Not sure any of those mentioned are any better after being with us that during their time. Charnley for example didn’t score a lot of tries during the Price period but was superb in yardage, took a lot of pressure off the front row. Also reasonably good in defence and kick retrieval. He also started last year like a house on fire, think it was 8 tries in 6 games. That is an incredible rate.

Mulhern has turned into one of SL best props IMO. He and Amone play massive quality minutes.

Don’t get me wrong, he’s a decent prop. But not really much more. But compared to Amone he’s made 700 less meters, missed 24 more tackles and made 4 more errors. That said, the fact that I bothered to look at stats shows that it’s closer than I first thought. For him to be statistically ranked amongst Vaughan and Amone proves me wrong, but would clubs swap him for Walmsley, Lees, Hill, Satae? I’m not sure.

I assume, but could clearly be wrong, that Burgess has his eye on someone else already, or he wouldn't let Kasiano move on. As to who that may be i've no actual idea, i can throw names out but how realistic they actually are is a different story.

You'll laugh when you find out. 'IF' Kasiano moves on and we get our #1 target it would the most 'Warrington' signing of all time. Not for this board though unfortunately.
