Westerman Eden and massey all to fev as cas look to release 15 players. Same problem as us let the squad get too old

I would have taken Westerman if we were still in SL, been consistently Cas's best player. I know people would talk about his age but he is still quality.

Very much what we did back in 2012, all but a few out the door and a fresh side. Be interesting to see who they'll bring in.

I'd take both Eden and Westy, both still playing a decent brand of rugby and have excellent versatility.

They're not turning down a SL contract though, given it'll probably be their final chance.

They are trimming costs though reportedly.

If they are struggling, as most RL clubs seem to be, they will need to trim their costs and players like Austin and Widdop certainly wont be cheap.
Also, how committed is Fulton Jnr, I dont think he's quite as keen to prop them up to the same extent as his dad ?

think the problem is if cas need 15 new players, fev if they come up probably 10, hull will want at least 6 and Leeds at least 10, where is the quality going to come from. Maybe tanginoa from us but not many others.
I hope when img do come in the overseas players are reduced to 3 and teams are told to get their houses in order and part of the criteria is to produce your own players

Fulton Junior wants out but he is owed at least a couple of million. They have potential sales lined up but all dependant on what happens with their planning permission.

How good would it be to have some news of a positive nature coming from the club.
MC said there would be announcements in ‘the next few days’ or words to that effect but the silence so far is deafening.

Carter did say that we'd be announcing who will be leaving the club over the next week or two.

Don't see what the rush is, the season isn't even over yet.
