You can’t fault the effort but we simply are not good enough or fast enough.
First half was as poor an “attacking” performance as I’ve ever seen.
The Sean Long appointment was and remains bizarre.
I’d sum us up as a team by Mason Linos performance.
He’s a likeable player, he clearly has a dig his cover defence on 2 occasions was excellent but he just cannot do his actual job which is to create space and opportunities.
Really frustrating that we are going out of this league with a whimper but it’s hard to argue we didn’t deserve it.

Thought Lino had a good game. Saved two tries and he certainly tried his hardest but if the runners aren't there, he can't pass to them can he? Head and shoulders above Gale IMO, I've watched Trinity 63 years and this is the worst attacking team I've ever seen wear the RWB, but individual players are not to blame. We don't seem to have any set moves, or game plan. We pass to players standing still, and often players receiving the ball run straight back to where it was passed from. Shocking stuff and I'm sick of seeing it. 10 out of 10 for effort 0 out of 10 for creativity. Effort alone is no good.

Procter as been one off the worst players I have seen at Wakefield ,just a 16 minutes man ,if he was our top signing you can see why we struggled Just completely ripped off ,the club the players he was playing with and the fans .Pity we will be losing players like Kershaw ,Eseh Dagger .At least we should be getting rid of a lot of the old players.think they make up 85 % plus of the squad

They sure would they were awful. Shows just how poor we are, from recruiting utter dross to a horrendous out of his depth coach unable to see even the most obvious failings. Then all the way and finally to the two leaders of this club who have cut to the bone and refused to take any responsibility for this situation. This is all on them.

I’m not faulting Lino’s effort. His try savers were both very good but that’s not his job.
He must have knocked on 3 maybe 4 times in contact or at the play the ball.
His kicking game was poor.
He offered no direction to the team and only took the line on when the game was gone.
He will go well in the Championship but at the moment in my opinion that is about his level.
He’s not alone in that to be fair.

I'd be fighting tooth and nail to try and keep those players, along side some other of our younger ones.
How many times have we loaned them out for game time, to chsmpionship and league one clubs, and theyve gone well
