Wonder who our first choice centres will be in 2024. If King returns I assume he’ll get one. Neither Bruines nor Tai are proven at SL level so I wonder if Connor Wrench will get the other starting slot.

And I would much prefer to see Ratch get a bench utility slot to include spells at hooker than see us waste a squad place on Dwyer. Surely Doolan is ready for some game time next year from the bench if needed.

I can't see it being anyone other than King and tai as starting centres next season with the confirmed squad roster so far.

Well I spoke about Doolan some time back, he can’t be far away from a chance at first team level. As for this recent Centre signing is this confirming the end of Mata’utia

Has there been any whispers about what’s happening with Mikaele in 2024? Seems like all has gone a bit quiet re.

a) who will replace him after his loan
b) him staying on next season

Sounds like (a) is more realistic - as much as I’d like (b) to happen

Last I knew was Burgess is looking for a prop to bring over if I read that right. I’m sure there will have been some discussions with Mikaele to see if there is a way to make it work for him to stay.
