Thats why no one else in the league does it.
In the case of the Paasi tackle, the shoulder hit the thigh, not the knee.

Absolutely this. I've watched the Paasi tackle a number of times and it's the thigh he makes first contact with.
I don't think he goes out to deliberately injure the pair, they're both desperate attempts in my view but there's only one player who can truly answer that question.
I'd appreciate an opinion of Morgan Knowles' season ending tackle on Cooper from Saints fans who have an issue with Asiata.

I think you are missing the point, he is hurling himself into the tackle reckless to himself and the opponent. The Walmsley one was a head charge and the Passi one was a shoulder charge, at that point it wasn't a tackle until Asiati used his arms. He also does this neck high as well the one he executed against a York player was late and high with no arm wrap. I,ve really not seen in detail the damage he did to LMS and Knowles.
We don't know where he has got this technique from because its banned in the NRL and the RFU, if has got the green light to carry with this technique then its only a question of time when he snaps knee and and ankle ligaments again, it just looks dangerous and shouldn't be glorified.
The new young dynasty of super saints is coming to a ground near you. Welsby-Dodd-Simms-Eaves-Rizzelli, not Eastmond...the future is coming.

I don't know what the ruling is in Aus, perhaps you can clarify, but the Paasi tackle is should & arms, so why is it banned? The Warmsley he does seem to just throw himself head first in the way of his legs.

Shut up. I posted the video and he hit the knee. But I wouldn’t expect anything less from a wire fan who has never had anything to cheer about unless it’s an injury to a St Helens player.

Stains have lost all credibility for me. They've become a disgraceful club.
