I thought we showed a commitment to each other which was pleasing to see. Team spirit seems great and for that Smith must take some credit. Austin is on fire, O'Connor had a top game too and McDonald has been the best signing we have made for years. Smith apart from the pass for the Handley try was a blocker in the attack - he isn't a ball player - he isn't mentally alert enough. Great defender - total commitment. Lisone was superb last night - good to see his extending his contract. Top performance all round.
I think the yellow card energised Warrington, something that often happens, but I imagine some fatigue kicked in for Leeds, which is to be expected when you go all guns blazing from the off.
We cant forget that even tho they've lost a few games in a row, they are second in the league with some very good players, they were always going to come back into the game at somepoint but we still managed to make good metres in attack and kept them quiet in defence.
Agree about Lisone, he really has settled now, his fitness has improved and it seems like his weight has dropped, impressed with him, especially his passing skills, which i wasnt expecting. Hes also another player thats great at getting a quick PTB.
