That building at the north end where the chip shop was, is that now owned by Danson? If not could it be used for something? Maybe a pre game away entertainment area?

I believe it was sold as part of deal when Latics went into administration to a company that intended to open a gmn. That hasn't happened so far.

I know many suspected this would be the case but surprised this hasn't been confirmed in a press release as its quite significant?
Things are changing thats for sure. all matchday (rugby)takings beer etc are going to the Warriors. Danson only bought the tics to stop them going under and to get the stadium. he owns 100% Latics and soon he will own 100% Warriors. Exiting times for sure.

Don’t Sodexo own the catering rights? Unless Danson has paid to terminate the contract?

Last home game the pop-up bar in the West concourse had disappeared. Choice of beer even sparser than usual; if you don't drink lager... hope things improve on that front, and, of course, that the money goes to the Warriors. And maybe a few more rugby photos on the walls to remind people a rugby league club plays there, rather than the one (?) that exists now, surrounded by about 50 Latics ones? Pretty please?
