Well! Clifford absolutely everywhere tonight. Trueman didn’t do much but good to see him get out there. Lane and Mcintosh the obvious passengers as others have said.

All men are created equal, some work harder in preseason.

That sin bin at the end was so smart. Wigan was in if he didnt do that.

Some very good performances but the collective effort in such bad conditions was outstanding. A step towards SL safety hopefully.

Agreed. Clever play and went a huge way towards getting us the win.

This team has taken some stick over the past couple of months, and rightly so. But I think when they show the commitment to the shirt like they did tonight then they rightfully deserve the praise.

Wigan were not at their best clinically tonight, but they are a good team that will probably be there on the last day of the season. But you can only beat what's in front of you and the boys dug in tonight to get that victory.

Well done lads. We look like we've come out of those tough months for us and turned a corner now, long may it continue.

Enjoy the victory, we all deserve it.

Trueman's self sacrifice at the end was so intelligent. Knew it would slow down play, allow us to set the line and back ourselves with 50 seconds to go. Hats off to him, a brilliant move in a debut 40 minutes. What a performance from Hull, assured, confident, committed and effective against a determined second half showing from Wigan. Clifford was massive, his best performance in a Hull shirt.

As an aside, on and off the pitch Litten is looking like a star in the making. Media savvy and comfortable. Is there already an argument to say that when Hoy comes back, he should play wing/centre as it's difficult to move Litten from full back?

Congratulations Hull, great win to add to the Huddersfield win last time. Things look to have really turned around. Enjoy the night.

Not pretty but some effort, that's all you can ask for and as disappointed as I would have been with a loss, I could have taken it. Full credit to Smith and the players.
