I'd rather have Sorensen than Tanginoa.

The Speculator wrote:This whole 'three players that Jon Wells mentioned' thing is quite puzzling. I wonder where he got those names from. He must have been confident in his information, to have gone on TV and named names. Was it from someone at the club? If so, that seems a strange way of leaking information. If you're happy for those names to be known, why not just talk about them openly, in a press conference? Or maybe it was agents giving Wells the information? Would Wells even have contact with NRL player agents? Most curious.

Good question, it was Wells that first said we were linked with Tanginoa on Sky last season.

Wasn't Wells Director of Rugby at Castleford for a number of years working with Powell? They may still be close.

Two days now until players go on the open market ... Which players should/are likely be retained from the list and which ones off other teams out of contract lists would people like to see at Warrington... I'm not sure if we will keep many ... Clark may be off , matautia retired and the others released ( not sure if Currie is a Powell type player... doesn't seem to want to get involved in the physical battles that are required to win a gf ... Immediately from the lists Wouldn't mind Deon cross from Salford being targeted.. good centre or keighran from Catalans similarly

We've apparently already signed a centre from the nrl for next season.

The advantage of cross is he's a good young English centre which would mitigate the need for an NRL .. the advantage of keoghran is that he seems suited and settled to super league .. not sure who this reported centre is because there was no reason not to have announced by now from the NRL where announcements are being made daily for transfers

Because the club always waits for it to be announced on here first then the Warrington Guardian.
