Reading between the lines you get to the top tier by investment & progression.
Invest your own cash, spend all your salary cap as well as having the A grade licence obviously has facilities and structures that have a minimum requirement.

Given this where does this put us?
The big fella needs to pull his finger out or move on?.

We are nowhere near in all honesty. More likely to be league 1 than SL.

Pretty much the only thing we've got going for us is the Academy.

That's offset by the shockingly bad stadium, lack of investment, poor on-field performances, dwindling crowds, dreadful back office setup, amateurish social media etc

We're Grade B at best, and that's probably borderline with Grade C

Difficult to say without seeing the weighting of criteria, however if we are anywhere near a ‘B then the whole process is a bit of a joke. The club is an embarrassment in just about every area other than the academy.

Id say we are closer to a grade Z than a grade A

Clearly all past winners of SL should be categorised as Class A.

Makes you realise, if we didn't already (through Leigh, York etc) just how critical this stadium decision is more than any other that's gone before. If this fails it's oblivion so I can understand, having insider knowledge, why Nige is throwing his weight behind that and temporarily neglecting the playing side.

With Nigel’s weight behind it then it must be nailed on…

I was more thinking flattened....

But if anything the latest Statement from Mr Hirst seems to suggest we are up for sale to the right bidder....

I think we always have been tbh. There have been previous statements to the like before this, but ultimately if there is nobody willing to take on the club, then how does Big Nige vacate the scene?

Personally I am still pinning my hopes to the new stadium being the solution to many of our problems. If it gets the green light to go ahead then I can see the club being sold very quickly as having a modern home that pays for itself makes for a much better investment.

That said, ironically I can see it being the very fans who shout and scream about getting Wood out of the club that could lead to the project failing. The government will have to weigh up its options and when the lead tenant has a supporter based as volatile as ours seems to be at the moment, then is that an attractive investment?

Don't think i'm biased...
...i'm just very narrow minded!!!!!!!
