While we were languishing around the bottom there seemed an inevitable feeling that saints were nailed on to surpass our greats by winning 4 in a row and we were powerless to stop it.

Now with a resurgent rhinos in the final and a saints team missing walmsley and others we have a real chance to take home the big prize.

I wouldn't rule out Salford winning today either. They've been excellent recently

I'll never be a Rhino's fan but I'll bite the bullet and say a massive well done on this performance. Smith has done an amazing job with the same players who couldn't win a raffle under Agar. Nobody will be looking forward to facing you in the final. I just hope Uncle Tony can have the same effect on our bunch of losers. Again, well done on a terrific showing.

Thanks mate. But no chance Tony Is having that kind of impact at your place. I honestly think a complete squad rebuild under Hodgson would have been a better option…..
You will have a very good spine in Hoy, Connor, Houghton , Satae next year though, so I do see the optimism….

Well done Leeds!

Leeds were my choice for a GF if we get there but no doubt the confidence will be replaced by cold sweats should we make it there!

Great performance full of character and bottle.

Hull fan here, well done to Leeds Rhinos. What a defensive show that was. Before the season started I had you down as dark horses and said that the only thing to stop you was the coach, with that squad very capable of top 3 and honours - well you have the coach now so I hope you can go on to win the final, if Salford can get there to it may just reignite my optimism that we may be okay under Rohan's uncle Tony. Like is say, massive achievement, I thought O'Connor was outstanding last night, all looks rosy for you at the moment.

An outstanding achievement. For me the proof of the quality of Rohan isn’t just in the turnaround, it’s in the players he’s turned around as part of it.

People like Mik, Gannon, Handley, Martin we’re performing week in week out anyway,

The real change is in the likes of Tetevano and Bentley, both of who look like the players advertised on a consistent basis. He’s found a place for O’Connor and Walters, simultaneously making a toughish call on Dwyer. He’s kept Hardaker performing despite him not playing fullback consistently, which he will have wanted to do. He’s even squeezed performances from players like Tindall and Bodene, who most wouldn’t have had near the team for a winning play off semi.

Sorry mate, hit wrong button. Put it down to shaking hands. Or beer. Or both..
