Some of her Leadership campaign was awful but, for the sake of the country, let's just hope this was playing to the Tory faithful who were going to choose their leader. The real job starts now and let's just hope that there is a serious plan to help those most in need with their energy bills this winter.
With energy prices rising so steeply, many businesses too will be closing their doors too, it's a HUGE problem.
IF she fundamentally believes the stuff spouted during the leadership campaign, both she and the British people are in for a very hard time. Hopefully, those comments were intended for the 80,000 people who chose the PM and not for the other 70,000,000 in the country.
Both her and Sunak came out with some absolute bull**** but, some of those blue rinse voters seem to love it.
Let's see just what she is going to do before throwing her under the Brexit bus.
Mind you, she does seem to lack any conviction of principles, she's changed position on many of the important issues over recent years. Mind you, so did BJ.

And here’s what Lizard Liz thinks of British workers

They’re going to freeze energy prices but they’ve no choice but to do that as the economy will collapse if they don’t. They always were going to do that but saved it up until after leadership contest to try and look good. The political thing is who pays for it. The small number of oil & gas companies who operate in an oligopoly, manipulating the market to ensure they profiteer off the back of human tragedy and unrest or the hard working public? She’s gone full Tory on that one.
I think they’re right in reversing the national insurance increase and looking to reduce taxes to increase investment right now as we need to get the economy moving. The blame for it being in such a state (downgraded to a developing nation economy) is due to 12 years of Tory mismanagement.
The worrying thing is the bonfire of peoples rights we’re about to see as the tories have lurched into fascism and likelihood that they’re about to kick start the troubles in Northern Ireland.
A lot is being made about Liz Truss being the third female PM and they’ve all come from the conservatives.
It’s welcome news that the new PM is female and there should have been more plus there should have been female Labour leaders. However, let’s not think this is good news for womens rights. Truss plans on giving tax breaks to married parents making it harder for single parents (predominately women) and making it harder for people to split up in abusive relationships (victims are predominantly women). Clearly that also infringes on mens rights but it’s mainly women that will be effected. She’s made a women who opposes abortion in cases of rape and incest health secretary.

It really is a depressingly extreme and low-ability cabinet isn't it. The Tory part has lurched dramatically to the right in the past 10 years - and Truss has only selected cabinet members who were loyal to her, i.e. those on the right of that already extreme bunch.
Fortunately most people know now that the "cutting red tape" they are after is lower regulations, lower customer protections, fewer workers rights. The opposite of where we are as a nation nowadays and it'll get seen through pretty quickly. It's yet more Tory gaslighting of course - because they are the ones behind the real great red tape imposition in the shape of Brexit, vast amounts of needless bureaucracy to import and export simply because of the ignorant insecurities of a rump of nationalists and the people they fooled into voting with them.
"Brian McDermott, with a wry smile, nods when asked if he remembers a specific incident which made him realise he was a prick. 'I do', he murmurs."
It's interesting that during the Brexit campaign, we were told soooo many times that there would be no reduction in standards and that workers' rights would be protected. However, the opposite seems to be true. Our government seem to want out of the ECHR and Truss suggests that the Unions have too much power, suggesting that she wants to make some changes here as well.
