Agree with most of the posts - Fax started at a pace Bulls couldn't live with, only way Bulls were ever going to score was from close in, and only way they were going to get there was if we gave away cheap penalties- which we did. We scored some nice tries but a long way from our best - the atmosphere created by both sets of fans really helped make up for that. Talk on Bradford forum that Flanagan might be appointed assistant coach - if they need someone to coach how to be a complete wassock he's definitely the man for the job!

Wish a was on that bus to shelf after game ha ha ha ha. Should of stuck sixty on the bullshitters but for the ref piggy backing them up the pitch penalties 10 minutes to half time.
Proper vexed up now but got to speak with Michael carter the Wakefield chairman after the game. Really can’t wait for the Josh Bowden signing to be announced now.
All but mathematically secure in third now. Really really hope we beat featherstone before the play offs cos are dorm is the best in the league at the moment.
Gave that Adam fogerty a bit of banter wasting his time with them lost
Also funny a was posting on here at exact same time gledgill was commentating. Probably because I aren’t him

Good win for fax and enjoyed the atmosphere. Must admit I found the game a little frustrating, looked like we were on the verge of blasting them off the park as we were too fast for them . It’s very hard to gauge when your caught up in the moment whether it’s poor discipline or an inept refereeing performance ( some bizarre decisions for both sides) regardless I’d say fax have been a bit clunky against Sheffield, Workington, Newcastle and Bradford. These next two games before the playoffs I’d be trying to get into a rhythm of controlling our discipline and upgrading our defence, we’ve let in some sloppy tries against some average opposition. If we desire to compete with the likes of fev those two things will have to be improved upon . Went to the bier keller after for the 1st time and must admit we look like a together bunch and seem to have a great team spirit which is something we will need come play off time .

Quite interesting that you were talking to Michael carter whilst he was simultaneously confirming josh Bowden is a Wakefield player and not in the list of players leaving.
I’m guessing while you were cosying up with Adam fogerty you were discussing your plans to star alongside him in snatch 2 .

Playing a quality halfback at fullback isn’t a luxury it’s called smart investment and recruitment some which Bradford failed to do , mick gledhill regularly reporting that Bradford and Halifax have similar budgets for this season, not dunnings fault btw .
The referee was woeful for both sides and Bradford did not once break Halifaxs’ line once and all three tries were on the back of penalties conceded
I must admit I missed the incident where I believe England was binned but dunning didn’t seem to question joe Martins sending off for being eye gouged at the bash .
I’m also pretty sure the penalty count favoured Bradford quite considerably.
Like I say disappointed in that interview, wasn’t quite as bad as Aston but still seemed a bit warped from reality..

I enjoyed his interview soley because he thinks at some points in that game they were close to us but the reality is, like you said, they didn't once break our line and the only time they got out of their own half was on the back of penalties. We can do something about that but Bradford can do little about how poor their attack is without bringing in a lot more players. We split them almost at will and they simply could not handle Jouffret who was the best player on the pitch by some distance and if a few more passes stick and a few better options the scoreline would have been a lot closer to 60. His team turned up to wind our players up and that is down to the coach at the end of the day and the sin binning he talks about for dissent could easily and probably should have been 2 yellow cards one for Flannagan as well but I think the ref took the easy option of picking one of them which sums up a very weak performance on the whole by the officials.

When you’re sat with the directors are you talking like you type? I think the desperation word would be more appropriate for yourself, I’ve held back a bit as I suspect certain individuals have mental health problems and wouldn’t want to contribute to exacerbating them . I prefer to rely on more reliable journalism like Matt shaw who has just mentioned our interest in Ryan king , funny how you haven’t heard that rumour whilst swigging champagne with Lawrence turner and co.

Not the first time he has pulled that sort of trick. After Fev beat Bradford last year when he was standing in for Kear he made a series of insinuations about an incident that saw Joe Keyes left concussed, whilst trying to hide behind "I'm not going to say anything, I don't want to get fined". It was really painful listening because the video of the incident didn'ty show anything untoward and the player involved (Gareth Gale) was cleared of any foul play.He just seems to have a bit of a victim mentality.

I remember that incident, joe Keyes made a half break and seemed to trip up and concuss himself, it was a strange one . I think he must have genuinely been concussed as he missed the next game against us but there was nothing in it . Maybe dunning was just frustrated, him ford and Aston have all had little tiffs this year . The officiating can be frustrating at times but like I say yesterdays ref was poor for both sides .
