About as lazy as his players performances, basically keep paying faithful fans, there's been a few hiccups (after 5 years you'd have demanded a specialist operate on.your throat!) And things may get better because we have a new training ground and are putting some money in the youth setup.

Got a lot to thank Adam for, but we've heard this 'things will get better' routine too many years before.

After reading that piece in the HDM I find it quite insulting and it would appear that the poor performances are deemed acceptable and there is just no accountability within the club from top to bottom. All I can say is that interview has pretty much made my mind up what I'm doing in terms of a season pass next year and sadly now I won't be renewing. Its just more excuses and if Adam really thinks that guff is going to wash with the majority of fans then he's misread the feeling within the fan base and is in for a rude awakening.
There's not even a hint of an apology for the recent pathetic performances or any acceptance that things have not been good enough and this is coming from the very top of the club, no wonder players can't be arsed. Its just the same poop different season just like groundhog day. Whilst all the talk of transition is admirable its just all too much of a coincidence this is all of a sudden the focus of the latest news coming from the club, following the garbage we have been served the past month.

I really enjoy long walks especially when they are taken by people I don't like!

Think he's trying to say the fans need to stay patient as there is a long term ambition for the club and youth and it's not a case of let's sack the coach as per dismal defeats, I tend to agree with a lot of what he says but I guess I'm in the minority. Cookie was spot on last night on Sportstalk too

Well said

For me it's quite simple either I see better performances before the end of the season or I don't renew my pass, there's about 17k empty seats to chose from if I decide to go to a game, and I don't feel i'm getting value for money from the pass due to loop games anyway (not Hull's fault that point of course) I've been loyal thorough the Covid years but it's got boring going and there's no worse feeling than that.

He said about the club putting the plans on youth in the long term but he said sometimes coaches don't get the time to benefit from that as the standards still need to be high for the first team

Which would be fine if it wasn't the first he's said this.

Lots to thank him for off the field but on it only 2012, 2013 (until the playoff disaster) 2016 and 2017 that have been sucesses in my eyes...4 seasons out of 10 (discounting 2011 as he arrived half way) it's a poor record in the league.

To be quite honest I'm not sure what the hell is trying to say and really am at the point of not giving a monkeys anymore. For me it comes across as being very apathetic and a reason the club seems to be in such a mess on the field. Asking for patience is one thing and would be acceptable if there had been genuine changes on the field that could be seen in terms of the shambolic performances but as we have seen this past month these issues are still very much in evidence. There are no excuses for the lack of effort we have seen recently in matches no matter how many injuries we have. Fans have been patient but you can't just keep asking the fans to continue attending and coughing up hard earned money to sit through the past month as though its acceptable because of the 'transitional period'.
To me its as if he's run out of excuses and thinks the fans will buy in to this latest PR to try and cover over the last month.

That is such a head-in-the-sand interview and it is clear we are missing somebody to do the 'football manager' role in the club.

To be fair, that’s been lifted from the recent programme notes, which are always bland and inoffensive (I used to get them emailed, but that seems to have stopped).

When the camera panned to his face, he didn’t look as calm as those programme notes sounded.

He must know people aren’t going to renew if things don’t change?
