Against London, Leigh played half the game with no Prop forwards. The modern game requires 6 Props, 2 on the field, 2 subs, 1 injured and 1 suspended. Leigh are way short of that number, with 2 on the pitch and 2 injured.
Hence everybody on the forum suggesting we needed a prop forward and a half back. We have got a prop, so waiting for a half back. Size, shape and speed suggest that Ben will fit into "our DNA" as Lammy puts it.

Green, Amone, Sidlow, Ioane, Asiata and Ben give us the 6 - if only we had them for the HKR we would be getting ready for a CC semi.

Maurice, I wouldn't count Asiata as a prop. I know that he is is capable of playing in a number of positions in the pack, and at half back, but to say that he is a prop is perhaps overstating things.

O'Donnell has been filling in there but that doesn't make him a prop either.

I think that we have to be honest and say that we have five proper props at the moment, not 6.

I'd be happier if we did have another prop on the books but perhaps half back is the position that the club are going to address next. I certainly hope so.

Ioane was in the squad two games ago but didn’t get picked he not been in the 21 man squad since so I’d say he’s had a set back and so has Green

Brace on. I wouldn't be playing him this week unless we know he is 100%, he was great before his injury and he shouldn't be far off being ready.

Maybe he will play v Batley
