I agree as he is head and shoulders better than what we currently have to offer at centre. Let`s see if anything else comes out over his latest run in.
If a current Leeds player did drugs, gets drunk regularly, late for training, beat up a student, got involved in drunken street fights, made homophobic comments to a referee, got kicked out of 2 International squads for sneaking out and getting vexed, got done for drink driving, abused fans on social media etc etc etc. Would you give him a new deal? Be honest with yourself now.
I cant believe what im reading.
Zak is that good now hes 3rd choice Wigan full back and he was behind the mighty duo of Iain Thornley and Jake Bibby in the centre peckimg order. Thats how good he is nowadays. He really isnt the player that left us.
I'm with Marty. This is not 2015 Man of Steel Hardaker, its drug ban, constantly boozing 7 years older Zak. He's nothing like the same player he was. And his record cannot and shouldn't be ignored - its awful, and if he hadn't been a star player he would have been kicked out of the game years ago.
I can understand the desire to sign him. He can still offer something on the field. Some of us are asking whether he's worth the risk, and others just aren't keen on him being with Leeds. That doesn't mean GH won't sign him. If he does I hope he puts really strong risk management in place around him - mainly being able to dump him the second he turns up half cut or does something else off field.

Clearly hedging our bets with the deal only been to the end of the season. If he can keep on the straight and narrow for that short amount of time it suits all parties because we can get a good player on the field while we are struggling and short and Zak gets to put himself on the pitch and in the shop window so to speak.
For me personally, anything beyond what has been released by Wigan is just speculation, granted it’s speculation that fits given his previous misdemeanours but I don’t for one second believe GH hasn’t done his due diligence here.

As a player he will be safe as houses at full back and will give his all to win ive no doubt about that but his pace has gone and hes not the same player. He was never a great linking full back more a runner.
He will be fine for a few week then the trouble will start again. I suppose by then hopefully Myler, who has his own issues at the moment, Fusitua, Austin and Sezer are back and healthy.
Ive said my thing on Zak. Really disappointed hes back. Nothing but trouble. The clubs name and reputation is more important to me than the odd result here and there.

A disaster waiting to happen. Does Myler have other issues than his injury ?
